Welcome to the Wymondham Town Archive Database.
The Archive consists of three sections at present:-
1. Digitised Index
That section which is catalogued by computer and the index of which is online.
To use this index log onto it at DATABASE LOG IN
For advice on using the Index see the Help Page
If after searching you wish to see any of the documents then you can either call in and inspect them or write or e-mail to us with the ID numbers of the documents. Searching is free but if you wish to have copies a small fee is payable. See the Fees and Payments page for details and for contact details
2. Card Index
That section which is catalogued by a card index. This index will progressively be digitised and added to the digitised index. In the meantime you can e-mail, write or telephone us with your queries and to obtain copies.
3. Photograph Index
The indexes of our photograph and slide collection are recorded on computer within the Archive but not in a format that can be immediately added to our digitised Index. This information is being progressively added as time permits. As for the Card Index you can e-mail, write or telephone us.
